Ando’s Dots

And other circles..

If you've visited the Clark Institute in Williamstown, Mass you'll notice that the Museum Building has been extended to accommodate the Clark Center, designed by the acclaimed architect Tadao Ando. One of his signature architectural features are concrete walls with the circular tie holes not filled in--"Ando's dots."
In this project, I display reimaginations of Ando's dots, mostly in situ, but also appearing in other compositions.
